YJT Program & Open Days

YJT is our newest training program for students ages 6-16 years which provides a wide range of classes catered to new artists within an amateur level of training (no experience needed). YJT classes for each level are held up to two days a week which includes some combination of ballet, creative movement, and also music appreciation if applicable.
Tuition YJT level CLASSES
JAC provides occasional open days for students to come and experience classes for free.

YJT Amateur Classes are taught by young professional dancers with a vibrant energy for youth, and a love for nurturing and having fun while inspiring the next generation.
YELLOW CLASS - 6-8 Years.
Classes for young dancers are held 1-2 days a week after school hours (or Saturdays). Dancers will practice ballet movements, creative movement, and stretch & strength. There is an option to showcase work upon teachers discretion and student participation.
Yellow Class Fees:
R1440 p/m
Optional costume rental fee: R200
BLUE CLASS - 9-12 Years.
This class is offered 2x a week including 2 ballet classes and 2 creative movement classes plus 1 music appreciation class. There is one seasonal showcase where students may perform in a set piece in one of the styles studied.
Blue Class Fees:
R1800 p/m
Optional costume rental fee: R400
GREEN CLASS – 13-16 Years.
Green level classes are offered 2x a week including 2 ballet classes and 2 creative movement classes plus 1 music appreciation class. There is one seasonal showcase where students may perform in a set piece in one of the styles studied.
Green Class Fees:
R1800 p/m
Optional costume rental fee: R400
Bursaries are available by application on a limited basis.
